Scholarship Opportunities for Undergraduate Students

Students of the Department of Geography & Geology program are able to access three scholarships.

Geography Majors -

The Milos Sebor Scholarship is an award for Geography Majors. Criteria for the award is:

• Must be enrolled full-time at Eastern Kentucky University seeking a degree in geography (inclusive of planning and travel and tourism).
• Must have a 3.0 high school GPA or a 3.0 university GPA, and demonstrate potential for the completion of a college degree.  The student will be eligible to reapply for the award if a 2.75 GPA is maintained.
• Must possess the characteristics demonstrated and valued by the Sebor family: leadership, citizenship, diligence, and social responsibility.

Milos Sebor Scholarship Application (Geography)

The Laura D. Kennamer Scholarship Program (Kennamer Campus Scholar and Study Abroad Scholar Applicants) is an award for students majoring in a Social and Behavior Sciences, including Geography. Geology Majors -
