2002       Sailed on Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) Leg 204 (Northwest Atlantic Sediment Drifts) as an Inorganic

Geochemist. Co-Chief Scientists: Anne Trehu and Gerhard Bohrmann. Leg 172 drilled nine

sites on an accretionary prism associated with Hydrate Ridge, offshore Oregon, North America.

 

2001       Sea-going expedition, ROV and coring, Monterey Bay.

 

2000       Sea-going expedition, piston coring, Blake Ridge, R/V Cape Hatteras.

 

1997       Sailed on Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) Leg 172 (Northwest Atlantic Sediment Drifts) as an Organic

Geochemist. Co-Chief Scientists: Lloyd D. Keigwin and Domenico Rio. Leg 172 drilled eleven

sites on the Carolina Rise, Blake-Bahama Ridge, and  northwest Bermuda Rise, offshore eastern

North America.

 

1995       Sailed on ODP Leg 164 (Gas Hydrates) as an Inorganic Geochemist. Co-Chief Scientists: Ryo

Matsumoto and Charles K. Paull. Leg 164 drilled seven sites on the Carolina Rise and Blake Ridge (offshore southeastern North America).

 

1991-     Laboratory experience in measuring pore-water inorganic ions and interstitial gases using   

1998             colorimetry, ion chromatography, and gas chromatography. Separation of various                          

species for isotopic analyses using wet chemical and cryogenic vacuum techniques.

 

1991-     Sea-going experience in piston coring and seismic acquisition (7 expeditions) aboard the

 1993              R/V Cape Hatteras (Duke Marine Lab); Knorr (Woods Hole), and Edwin Link (Harbor Branch).
